Samson: The Weakness of Strength

God called Samson to be a life-long Nazarite. Discounting the worth of his call, he
maintained a life of rebellion. Nonetheless, God endued him with superhuman strength
to tear a lion apart, carry the poundage of the iron Gates of Gaza, and collapsing a
pagan temple by pushing on its pillars. Yet his strength dissolved at the hands of a
woman Philistine spy, Delilah. How do we make sense of Samson’s life of rebellion; and
faith as recorded in the New Covenant? We will figure it out together and emerge with
some practical lessons for us today.
