Four Israelis Respond to the War
Join us as four Israelis with different backgrounds and perspectives, share their individual points of view of the current conflict in the Middle East and their experiences as the war unfolded. This is a "not to be missed" class, packed full of information that will challenge you to think deeply and explore biblically.

Meet The Presenters:
Week 1: Jason Silverman - Jason is a PhD candidate in International Relations at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, a social activist and a combat reservist. He lives in Jaffa, Israel with his wife, daughter and son.
Week 2: Lisa Loden, MTh -Lisa is a founding member Yachad B’Yeshua and serves on the Theological Commission. Previously, she was part of the Helsinki Consultation. She was a founding member of the Roman Catholic-Messianic Jewish Theological Dialogue Group, now the Rome Study Group, and serves on the steering committee. She teaches, writes, and mentors young leaders. Her passion is for reconciliation and the unity of the Body of Messiah. Together with her husband David, she immigrated to Israel in 1974, and lives in Israel. She has one daughter and two granddaughters.
Week 3: Rittie Katz - Rittie was born in New York City and made Aliyah 32 years ago with her husband, two children and pregnant with her third. She teaches English and Special Education and works as a Life Coach and writer. Rittie also has organized book clubs and music gatherings between Israeli and Palestinian children.
Week 4: Tovik Liberman -Tovik is a Sabra (native born Israeli), who grew up in Israel and served in the IDF in the Golan Brigade between 1967 and 1970. He returned to the IDF in 1973 to serve in the Yom Kippur War. He then resumed his studies in Hawaii. In Hawaii, Tovik served as President of Temple Emanuel in Honolulu, and was active in Community Theatre where he played many roles, including the role of Tevya in Fiddler on the Roof. He and his wife, Colleen, and four children moved to San Diego in 1993 where Tovik found his Messiah Yeshua, and currently serves as an Elder at Kehilat Ariel Messianic Synagogue. He recently retired and lives in Missouri, but continues to serve as an Elder at Kehilat Ariel where he teaches Torah Classes by Zoom.
